Review summary

Turner Hopkins receives mixed feedback from clients. Recent reviews praise lawyers Kate and Catherine Pendleton for responsiveness, clear communication, and genuine engagement during complex cases, with clients reporting positive outcomes and strong trust-building. However, several reviewers complained of slow email responses (2–3 days or longer), unresolved matters after months despite assurances, high fees with limited progress, and dismissive responses to complaints about communication delays and billing queries. The firm's strongest reputation stems from individual lawyer performance, though systemic communication and case management issues have frustrated some clients.

I would like to express my sincere thanks and appreciation to Kate at Turner Hopkins. Over the past months, I have been going through one of the most stressful and difficult periods of my life. What I appreciated most was that Kate never made me feel like just another client. She was always responsive, approachable, and willing to explain things clearly, even when the situation was complicated. She has built a level of trust that is rare to find, and I truly appreciate everything she has done to help me through such a challenging time. If you are looking for a lawyer who is highly professiona…

I am incredibly grateful for Catherine Pendleton, who is an exceptional lawyer who genuinely cares. I have known and worked with her since 2023 and I cannot recommend her highly enough. I know I was in capable hands, but Catherine's support during my recent case this year has meant so much to me. It has been incredibly long and stressful but she was my strength throughout the entire process. In moments when I felt overwhelmed, her empathy, deep understanding, and steady guidance kept me grounded. She explained everything and provided clarity with practical and strategic solutions. I am gratef…

A existing client who has paid a substantial fee is entitled to be treated with respect. This would include having an email or telephone call ( where a polite msg was left ) answered within 7 days. That is not the case in my experience, it’s the arrogant attitude which is unacceptable in my view.

Absolutely useless. My husband and i approached them to handle 3 separate legal cases. Not one of them have been resolved in 8 months!!! Despite assurances that they could resolve them. We are worse off now, than before approaching them! In my opinion they create legal hurdles to keep charging exorbitant fees before it even reaches court and for accomplishing absolutely NOTHING. You’re then forced to legally represent yourself anyway. We approached the partner on 3 separate occasions to complain about late responses, Billing enquires and the fact that time kept going by without anything act…
